Vintage Wedding Locations
Want to capture the feeling of a certain era? Look at properties that are historical or were built to resemble a particular period of architecture.

Décor can turn any venue into a vintage wedding. The décor will need to suit the venue whether it's an elegant ballroom, garden, restaurant or a beach. The ambiance of the setting will dictate the décor. If you are having your reception in a room that has no architectural detail and very little color, bring in table settings and decorations to add life to the room. In an elegant room rich with color simple is better. The table decoration will be right in front of your guests as they sit for the reception dinner or around the room in the case of a Champagne and Hors d'oeuvres reception. Start with the color or colors you have chosen to accent your wedding. Table settings should incorporate the color in the way of candles, live plants, napkin rings, favors or flowers. Simple table runners or napkins in color can dress up a table. Small potted ferns and candles will add to a vintage elegance. Small silver framed photos of the bride and groom or from days gone by is a nice touch. Sparkling clear glass and candles put a glow on everyone and everything. At the beach, colorful beach balls, beach chairs and balloons are great. In the garden a simple touch of color will add to the loveliness of the plants and flowers.
