After seeing the remarkable entry presented by Accents by Sage for the tabletop design contest at the California State Fair, we just had to share. This very original design started with a centerpiece using a large gnarled piece of wood as the receptacle for a true statement piece. With this as the focal point, Cheryl then created looks to work with the centerpiece.
The original design was deep purple linen (on trend for 2018), an overlay of taupe patterned linen toning down the brightness for a more neutral look. With colorful green plate on light grey plate and rusty orange linen. Ripe strawberries in glass bowls for a pretty snack.
Next we added a tone on tone blush runner over the purple and switched to a light gray plate and pretty lavender rose on each plate.
Finally, let the color shine! Our deep purple crush linen stole the show. Sprigs of rosemary went on each plate. Refreshing drinks of sparkling water with fresh fruit was the signature drink.
